The Reserve division is a group of men and women who are sworn officers, just like the patrol division, that supplement the Sheriff's Office.  These men and women have normal, everyday jobs, and volunteer their time to the Sheriff's Office as available.  This dedicated group handles some special events such as the Bridge to Bridge, and working summer operations in the Wilson Creek area.  They supplement the patrol division when available and respond to the same type calls and incidents as full time officers.

If you would like to become a reserve deputy sheriff, you must complete the same Basic Law Enforcement Training as other officers.
