Friday 13th Brings Bad Luck for Meth Dealer

Sheriff Alan C. Jones announced that on January 13, 2012, a six month long drug investigation came to a conclusion with the execution of a search warrant at 5086 Jett Drive in Granite Falls, home of Michelle Wike Hollar.  Agents with the Sheriff’s Office Ice Unit began investigating Hollar after receiving numerous complaints of possible drug activity at her residence.  The agents conducted several controlled purchases of illegal drugs from Hollar at her residence which subsequently led to the issuance of a search warrant.

Agents set up on the residence and observed Hollar leave in her vehicle.  She was stopped and detained by a K-9 officer and Ice Agent while members of the Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team simultaneously executed the search warrant without incident.  A search of Hollar resulted in six grams of methamphetamine and $685.00 cash seized from her person.   Agents searched the home and netted various items of drug paraphernalia, US currency, and a small amount of marijuana.  The drugs seized have a street value of $904.00 according to NC State Guidelines.

The meth business is a dangerous trade to be caught up in.  You get caught and there is a significant price to pay”. – Sheriff Alan C. Jones
