Hudson Man
Arrested on Marijuana Charges
A drug
investigation came to a close on June 4, 2010, when a Hudson man was arrested in Hickory
for drug violations stemming in Caldwell County. Jeffrey Allen Baldwin, 35, of 2133 Marietta Lane
was charged by the Caldwell County Sheriffs Office Ice Unit with felony possession
with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintain a dwelling to keep/store a
controlled substance. Baldwin has been on the
Ice Units radar for several months. A
recent search of his vehicle and mobile home with the assistance of a Lenoir Police
Department K-9 Unit turned up a little over two pounds of pot, weighing scales, and a
small amount of US currency. The marijuana
has a street value of approximately $7,300 according to state guidelines.
This was a sound investigation with solid
results. I believe in making drug arrests
public knowledge. The community deserves to
know who their local drug dealers are. Sheriff Alan C. Jones
