Joint operation nets marijuana dealer!

On February 3, 2010, Narcotic Agents with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office Ice Unit teamed up with Wilkes County Detectives to net a marijuana dealer living just across the county line.  After a lengthy investigation, Julie Lisa Trivette, age 45, was arrested at Riverview store on Champion Road in Wilkes County when she came out with three pounds of marijuana to conduct a drug deal.  

Agents believe she was not only supplying Wilkes county residents with marijuana, but Caldwell residents as well.  After Trivette was taken into custody, agents searched her home and seized $4,620.00 in cash, weighing scales, and other items of drug paraphernalia.  She was incarcerated in the Wilkes County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond and has a first court appearance on Thursday, February 4, 2010. 

A co-conspirator, Ellen Mary Grose, age 55, of 1325 Champion Road was also charged with drug violations and incarcerated in the Wilkes County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond and has a first court appearance on Thursday, February 4, 2010.

  One (1) Count – Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Marijuana.
One (1) Count – Felonious Sale Marijuana.
One (1) Count – Felonious Maintain a Vehicle to Keep/Store a Controlled Substance.
One (1) Count – Felonious Possession of Marijuana.

  One (1) Count Felonious Maintain a Dwelling to Keep/Store a Controlled Substance
One (1) Count Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana.
One (1) Count Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office is also investigating stolen property found at the residence and more charges are expected.
