Crime of the Week
On August 23, 2009, unknown person(s)
stole a four wheeler from 1763 Taylorsville Road. The four wheeler is a Polaris Sportsman,
army green in color and is one of a kind. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det.

On August 12, 2009
unknown person(s) stole a utility trailer from a residence located at 5722 Blowing Rock
Blvd in Lenoir. The trailer is black in color but it has been modified to haul a car. The
floor of the trailer is open in the middle with a tread plate design on the running
boards. The ramps have labels on the left side of the trailer behind the axles. There is a
sticker with the name Kens located on the left side behind the hitch. The trailer is 14 to
16 feet long with a lowered floor about 5 inches off the ground. It has dual axles and
black wheels that came off of a mid 80s s10 pick up. The trailer is valued at 2,800.
The Caldwell County
Sheriffs Office also needs the publics help to solve heat pump thefts
throughout the county. On August 25, 2009, employees with JP Leather on the Mission Road
in Hudson reported that a Rheem heat pump was stolen from the building sometime throughout
the night. On the same day, employees with Chubbys on the Connelly Springs Road
reported that two heat pumps from the business were stolen throughout the night. Anyone
with information about these crimes is asked to contact Det. Stephen Raby with the
Caldwell County Sheriffs Office at 759-1522.
