Wilma Grant

Wilma Jean Grant, of 330 Walt Arney Road, was found dead in the floor of her home on the morning of December 29, 1994 at 8:35. Grant, who was 59 at the time of her death, was found bleeding from the head. There were no signs of forced entry into her residence. Autopsy results listed the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.

Ms. Grant was known as a trusting and caring woman. She was someone who, according to family, would welcome anyone into her home. She rarely locked her doors.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office, along with agents from the SBI interviewed several people in this investigation. Although there have been persons of interest, no one has been arrested in the case.
