Emily Anderson

On December 29, 2005, at approximately 9:48 PM, 49 year-old Emily Anderson, of Union Church Rd in Granite Falls, was reported missing. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office worked non-stop interviewing family and friends of Ms. Anderson in attempts to locate her. On Saturday, January 7, 2006, Ms. Anderson’s vehicle was located in a parking lot next to a Waffle House in Duncan, South Carolina. The vehicle was towed back to Caldwell County and while processing the vehicle for evidence, Ms. Anderson’s body was found in the tool box located in the bed of the truck. She was sent to Chapel Hill for an autopsy. Results revealed that Ms. Anderson died from multiple gunshot wounds.
