Captain Brian Bennett's Credentials

Captain Brian Bennett has 14 years of law enforcement experience. 

With an A.S. degree in Criminal Justice, he has over 3,000 hours of law enforcement training.

He has received numerous medals, service awards and commendations throughout his career, including the Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate awarded by the North Carolina Sheriff’s Education and Training Standards Commission.

Captain Bennett is also certified as a level II Firefighter by the State of North Carolina.

In addition to his duties as Investigations Commander, Captain Bennett is a member of North Carolina Internal Affairs Investigators Association and the North Carolina Homicide Investigators Association.

Captain Bennett is married and has two elementary school age Children.
